Membership is simple, affordable, and low-pressure.
This small annual fee helps cover the cost of boards, pieces, clocks, room use, and other club expenses.
First-time visitors and occasional players can come and play for free. Visit, play some chess, and become a member when you're ready.
Payment is not collected at the club. If you decide to join as a member, you'll pay the annual fee at the Crook County Parks & Recreation District office during business hours.
Once paid, your membership is valid for one full year.
We encourage you to become a member if you plan to attend regularly — typically more than a few times per season. Even if you don't attend every week:
